An unusual sight at the beach in North Carolina.  2/12/10, Friday night, the snow began to fall on Sunset Beach.  We awoke to beautiful snow covered palm trees, and snow covered sand on the beach!  Great for taking pictures!  By midday Saturday - only a few traces in shaded areas remained. 

This is one of the beach access boardwalks at Sunset Beach, NC.   I was standing on the snow covered sand on the beach looking at the boardwalk stairs leading back to the main road.  7:30 am. 2/13/10
