Construction has begun on the "New" high rise bridge at Sunset Beach .

In the photos below, see the beginning of easy travel to the island of Sunset Beach.  Although we all will cherish the memories of the "one lane" wooden pontoon bridge, the new two lane bridge will allow homeowners and visitors to cross over to the island while boats pass freely underneath.  This page will be updated as the construction progresses.
